Captain Calvin Patterson is a United States Navy veteran (1983 to 1991), whom sailed with Seafarers International Union for seven years before progressing up the Hawsepipe to join American Maritime Officers. Captain Patterson has positively influenced many AMO members over his 33 years in the Merchant Marine. As Veterans Day approaches, AMO celebrates Captain Patterson for his service to the country in his military service and maritime service.
