American Maritime Officers members aboard the M/V ARC Independence, here in Beaumont, Texas in February included, Chief Mate Emily Gramer, Chief Engineer Ronald Heeman, First Assistant Engineer Chase Whittemore, Second A.E. Orion Milazzo and Third A.E. Justin Valencia Rodriguez.
The crew of the M/V ARC Independence loads tanks and other military vehicles into cargo holds in preparation for another mission. The ARC Independence is part of the Maritime Security Program, which provides vital sealift capabilities for the U.S. military.
