The crew of the American Phoenix put together a surprise gender reveal party for Third Mate Lisa Burke (with dad-to-be in attendance via FaceTime, of course). “It’s not as hard being away from home during special moments like these when you have crew that cares so much,” Burke said.
Among those participating in the celebration with Burke were Second Assistant Engineer Islam Moussa, Third A.E. Benjamin Temple, Second Mate Jamie Collins, Chief Engineer Eric Ketteringham, First A.E. Frank Hlatky, Captain Tom Liebsch and Chief Mate Brendan Kelly.
