STAR Center now offers seminar on ICODES stow planning software
|

RTM STAR Center now offers a one-day seminar on Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES) ship stow planning software.
The ICODES seminar introduces masters and chief mates working aboard vessels chartered by Military Sealift Command to the ICODES load planning software, which also enables them to communicate with the load planners. Using installed software, students will learn how to communicate the locations of ship's gear and no-stow areas, indicate obstruction locations and ballast/fuel tank settings to the load planners, calculate trim and stability, customize cargo reports and export cargo data. The eight-hour seminar includes 6.5 hours spent using the software.
