    Charters Add 11 LMSRs To AMO Fleet
    AMSEA, 3PSC To Operate Bob Hope Class, Converted Vessels
    The USNS Yano is one of nine large, medium-speed roll-on/roll-off ships to be operated for the Navy’s Military Sealift Command by American Overseas Marine Inc. (AMSEA) under a newly awarded charter. AMO will represent all of the licensed officers on the LMSRs.
    The USNS Gilliland and a second LMSR, the USNS Gordon, will be operated for MSC by 3PSC LLC, which employs AMO in all licensed positions. The AMSEA and 3PSC LMSRs will join eight LMSRs operated for MSC by Maersk Line Ltd. in the AMO deep-sea fleet.
