American Maritime Officers will continue to represent the engineers, mates and stewards aboard three self-unloading Great Lakes bulk carriers sold by Oglebay Norton Co.
The Edward L. Ryerson in July returned to the iron ore trade after fitting out in the dry dock at Bay Shipbuilding Company in Wisconsin. The ship's last sailing season was in 1998.
