    MSC charter to Maersk means contract gains for ships' officers
    The USNS Dahl, shown here in Beaumont, Tx., is one of eight large medium-speed roll-on/roll-off vessels operated for Military Sealift Command by Maersk Line Ltd. and manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers.
          The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command has awarded a five-year operating charter for eight large medium-speed roll-on/roll-off vessels to Maersk Line Ltd., which will continue to operate the ships under contract with American Maritime Officers.
