The nomination period for this year's AMO election of officers and executive board members will begin at 1 p.m. June 4, 2001, and will close at 1 p.m. July 2.
The following is the text of the American Maritime Officers National President's Pre-Balloting Report on the 2001 AMO election of national officers and executive board members. The report is required by Article VIII, Section 1(f) of the American Maritime Officers National Constitution. The report is to be presented to the membership at the regularly scheduled May membership meetings and will be mailed to all members at their last known home addresses and to contracted vessels on May 14.
This form certificate may be clipped and attached to a nominee's nomination letter. Additional printed copies of the certificate shall be available in all AMO union halls or by written request to the AMO National President at Headquarters at 2 West Dixie Highway, Dania Beach, Florida 33004
Copies of the American Maritime Officers National Constitution were mailed to all AMO members at their home addresses and to contracted vessels on April 18, 2001.
