AMO Members Asked To Call Ahead With Time Of Arrival
In order to help union representatives better service the membership, American Maritime Officers members are asked to call in advance of their ship's arrival in port to arrange to have an AMO representative meet the ship and provide any services members working aboard may need.
If your vessel is due to make a port call in the vicinity of an AMO office, even at a distant port in the region, please contact the nearest port office or AMO headquarters in Dania Beach, Fla., 7 to 10 days in advance of your arrival. Even if your port call is a regular part of your ship's run, it will help us to have an accurate schedule for your vessel.
A list of phone numbers for AMO port offices and representatives is included here and can be found in the port directory in every issue of American Maritime Officer and on the union's Web site.
