    'Marine Columbia' Wins Performance Award
    Lone AMO Ship In Alaska Tanker Company Fleet Of 11 Ranked First In Five Categories
    The Marine Columbia, the only Alaska Tanker Company ship manned in all licensed positions by AMO, led the fleet in safety and performance in 2000.
          The MT Marine Columbia, the only ship in Alaska Tanker Company's fleet of 11 that is manned in all licensed positions by American Maritime Officers, was recently rated first by the company in five categories of performance and safety.
         Alaska Tanker Company (ATC) in February announced that the Marine Columbia was the winner of the ATC President's Award for Excellence in Health, Safety and Environmental Performance for 2000.
