The five were among the participants in a Washington conference called by AMO to address the crisis caused by the illegal "dumping" of foreign steel in the U.S.
          Widespread layoffs at steel mills, iron ore mines and pellet plants. Companies in bankruptcy. Declining U.S.-flag iron ore floats on the Great Lakes.
          These are among the consequences of the persistent "dumping" of foreign-made steel in U.S. markets over the last four years. And these were the topics in a recent day-long meeting hosted in Washington by AMO.
