The following resolution was proposed by the AMO National Executive Board and unanimously adopted by American Maritime Officers members at the regularly-scheduled monthly membership meetings in Dania Beach, Fla., Toledo, Ohio, and Brooklyn, N.Y, the week of Dec. 4-8. |

On behalf of the national executive board of AMO, I thank everyone who participated freely in our union's 2006 election -- as candidates for official office at various administrative levels or as individuals interested enough to learn candidates' positions and vote accordingly.
