• Cargo float improves for fourth consecutive month
          The cargo float for U.S.-flag Great Lakes vessels in October increased for the fourth consecutive month to 11.8 million net tons, 6.7 percent more than the same period the previous year. However, the active fleet count was down one vessel as of Nov. 1.
