               The 'M/V Tanabata' was re-flagged under U.S. registry Nov. 3, 1999, in Bremerhaven, Germany, becoming the fourth vessel to join the U.S.-flag fleet of car carriers under contract to American Maritime Officers.

         U.S. prosecutors had something other than a red carpet in store for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line when the company's newest vessel, the 'Voyager of the Seas', called at the Port of Miami. Authorities in mid-November boarded the ship and placed Chief Engineer Oystein Larsen under arrest.
